Hosts References Database

The larval water mites live as ectoparasites on different insect hosts(Collembola, Odonata, Plecoptera, Heteroptera, Thysanoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Trichoptera). The most important host group are chironomid nematocerans. In the present database for all water mites the existing references on host species are listed.
